Practice Facilities
Practice equipment for beginners and visiting guests are subject to availability. Both venues have a small stock of shinai and bokuto. Bogu is also possible.
Wooden sprung floors
Both venues have wooden sprung flooring, ideal for kendo as we train barefoot. The sprung flooring provide excellent absorption during keiko
Kendo is for women and children
Kendo is for everyone, adults teens and children, and for both sexes. Our club has a healthy mix of members.
Memberships
We have two memberships - Maltese Kendo Federation for international representation and Koseibukan Kendo club for training locally.
International Competitions
Through the Maltese Kendo Federation, we represent Malta at the European and World Kendo Cups. We also support our athletes when participating in other international events and training camps.
Coaching
Our coaches are dedicated to kendo development, encouraging and supporting all members, abiding by the Coach's Code of Ethics.
